Patios, Walls, Walkways, and Steps

Our first specialty is hardscaping, including patios, walls, walkways, and steps. We build using both interlocking pavers and natural stone, and offer more than 25 years of experience on projects like these. We are certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, which means that you can expect our work to endure for many years as beautiful and as functional as the day it was installed.

Your new patio will be a place you enjoy as you sip a cool drink on a summer afternoon, enjoy a warm fire on a crisp autumn evening, or simply relax in the sun in the first warm days of spring. Add a pond and a waterfall and you'll also have the pleasure of year-round bird visitors, and perhaps the dart of golden fish or the croak or peep of frogs.

Walkways and steps can simultaneously define different areas of your yard or garden, while also unifying the whole by the repetition of compatible materials and design.

Ponds, Waterfalls, and Pondless Waterfalls

Our second speciality is water features, including ponds, waterfalls, and our latest addition: pondless waterfalls. Adding a water feature to your patio will soften it as surely as lush plantings nearby, lending a cool tranquillity and attracting wildlife. A waterfall will bring the sound of moving water and also naturally add oxygen to the water and improve the health of your pond. All of our ponds are carefully designed to work with your site, whether level or not, and are constructed using the finest materials — both the stone you see around the rim and the submerged liner, pump, and tubing you don't see below.

Pondless waterfalls are perfect for smaller spaces. They consist of a reservoir set below the ground's surface, covered with a layer of decorative stones, with a jet or a fountain above. You get the musical splash of water and put out an invitation to birds to drink and bathe, but don't need a large space for a traditional pond. Pondless waterfalls are also safer for families with small children, as they have no standing water for little people to tumble into.

Nighttime Effects, including Moonlight Gardens

Among our latest offerings are special lighting and other nighttime effects for your patio and garden. We offer many plants with special qualities for the evening, such as fragrant evening blossoms, and pale flowers and foliage that pick up moonlight and almost appear to glow in the dark. Moonlit gardens and subtle lighting make for truly enchanting evenings.
